Hypothesis- I think that the mass of the car will affect the distance a block of wood travels.

Materials -
-A hot wheels car
-6 pennies
-tape
-block of wood
-measuring stick (to see how far the block of wood goes)
-paper and pencil to record data

Procedure -
1- Gather all materials
2- First take the block of wood and places it on a flat surface
3- Roll the hot wheels car into the block and measure how far the block went. And record
4- Tape 3 pennies to the top of the hot wheels car and now roll the car at the block. And record
5- Add 3 more pennies to the car and roll it to the block. And record
6- Repeat steps 2-5 three more times
7- Graph
8- Clean up

Hypothesis- Yes, because if the surface is rougher it will slow down the marble and if the marble is on a smoother surface then it will slide down fast


Materials -
1. 2 different kinds of paper
2. Ramp
3. Marble
4. Tape
5. Timer
6. Paper and pencil


Procedure -

1. Gather materials
2. First tape one off the pieces of paper on the ramp
3. Take ramp and tape it to a surface
4. Get your timer ready and roll the marble down the ramp
5. Record how long it took to get to the end of the ramp
6. Repeat 1-6 for the do next piece of paper
7. Now record all data
8. Graph
9. Clean up

2. Grab your car and roll it and time how long it goes for
